The center was trailer mounted and used in street carnivals. Later, it was used in a traveling carnival, it has been in our family ever since. It was in continuous operation until 2011. With some minor attention, this carousel could be restored to its original beauty.
The carrousel has never been set-up and running out in the weather continuously for extended periods of time. The canvas is in excellent condition. The merry-go-round has been stored in a diesel powered box truck. The horses are the original hand-carved wooden bodies. The horses have been repainted several times since 1965 and do not have the original paint.
